After several years (!) of planning, I finally got started on making new tablerunners for advent. My stash of purple fabric had grown lately, so I had plenty to choose from.
I found several patterns for advent runners, most of them with hearts or candles on. I wanted to make something different, and chose to use snowflakes as this was to be a winter project.
To make paper snowflakes is something many kids have done. I found a page on the web with patterns for the most fantastic snowflakes! They would be perfect for my runner...
The only problem was that it was so much easier to cut folded paper than folded fabric. The idea was rejected :-(
The only problem was that it was so much easier to cut folded paper than folded fabric. The idea was rejected :-(
Instead I found some much simpler snowflakes. But I am going to work on the paper cutting!
